Job summary

Carter BloodCare is expanding our team of Phlebotomists. The Phlebotomist 2 leads in safe blood collection, manages donor flow, and ensures regulatory compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Opportunities exist on Mobile Collections and Donor Center teams across Texas, with leadership and training as part of the role. We offer paid training, competitive pay starting at $18.98/hr, and a full benefits package including PTO, health plans, 401(k) matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of general work experience or comparable education in the medical field.
• Customer service experience.
• Prior phlebotomy, blood banking, or medical field experience.
• Prior experience in a highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe collection of blood products and facilitate donor flow.
• Assess donor eligibility and provide top-notch customer service.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and resolve donor concerns.
• Participate in leadership/development training and mentor new staff.
• Manage daily team functions and support mobile drives or donor centers.
