Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 2903 NE Andresen Rd in Vancouver, WA. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm; overtime and rotating weekends may be required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
  • Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA‑P)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist
Additional Job Standards
  • In lieu of the state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Pay Range

$17.75 to $27.69 per hour.
