Job summary

Labcorp in Spokane, WA is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, prepare specimens for testing, and ensure accurate data entry with compassionate patient service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm with overtime and occasional Saturdays; requires a WA phlebotomy license and 3+ months phlebotomy experience, with potential travel to additional sites as needed.

Position Details

Phlebotomist – PAML (Project‑Based Assessment & Management Laboratory) at Labcorp, Spokane, WA.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm. Additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience.
• 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy requirement.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $17.75 – $26.41 per hour.

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: PST may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
