Job summary

LCA Lab. Corp. of America is seeking a Hospital Phlebotomist in Vancouver, WA. This role offers a 7-on-7-off schedule, working from 9:00pm to 7:00am.

The ideal candidate will perform blood collections, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional customer service. A Washington State Phlebotomy license is required.

The pay range is between $17.75 to $27.69 per hour, with benefits for employees scheduled 20+ hours per week.

Job description

Job Summary

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Phlebotomist to join our team at 2211 NE 139th St., Vancouver, WA 98686. The position is part of Labcorp’s global diagnostic testing and drug development solutions mission.

Schedule

7‑on– 7‑off schedule, 9:00pm–7:00am, rotating Thursday & Wednesday.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA‑P). (Alternatively, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement.)
  • Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years of experience as a phlebotomist.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Pay Range

$17.75 to $27.69 per hour plus 3rd shift differential.
