Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Floater for our client’s facility in Mays Landing, NJ. This 3-month position offers a pay rate of $23.35/hour to $25.74/hour with a schedule of Monday to Friday, including rotating Saturdays. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III - Floater to support our client’s medical facility in Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Location: Mays Landing, NJ 08330. Duration: 3 months. Pay rate: $23.35/hour to $25.74/hour. Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens in accordance with established procedures.
• Explain clearly the process of venipuncture (blood drawing) and other specimen collection (e.g., urine or fecal) as required.
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Fully understand all physician orders. Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Check all test requisitions or computer labels against the script to ensure 100% correctness.
• Package specimens for transport.
• Store specimens at the required temperature and place them accordingly.
