Job summary

LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to perform blood collections and manage specimen processing. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and, preferably, a phlebotomy certification. This role offers an hourly pay range of $17.75 to $28.49.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or three (3) months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.

Pay Range

$17.75 - $28.49 per hour.

Benefits

• Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan for employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week.
• 401(k) Plan for employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees.
• All foregoing benefits for employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule, except PTO or FTO.
