Job summary

LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist in Rehoboth, MA. In this role, you will perform blood collections and maintain accurate records of patient information. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and relevant phlebotomy certification or experience.

Successful applicants will provide excellent customer service and have the ability to work independently. Comprehensive benefits are provided for employees scheduled 20+ hours a week.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or training must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Benefits

• Employees scheduled fewer than 20 hours: eligible only for 401(k) plan.
