Job Overview

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Clyde, NC. Work schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Ready to travel to additional sites when needed and have reliable transportation.

Benefits

• Sign‑on bonus of $3,000.00.
• Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
