Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team on a client site in Weaverville, NC. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm, with responsibilities including blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and billing support.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, and be able to pass a color blindness test. Travel to additional sites may be required and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking
• Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Travel to additional sites when needed, reliable transportation

Compensation and Benefits

Sign on Bonus $3,000.00

PST Incentive Plan: Eligible for a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
