Job summary

Labcorp in King, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our client-site team. Typical schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods, specimen preparation, data entry, and maintaining accurate patient logs. Qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in King, NC. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one‑hour lunch break.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or three months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Travel to additional sites when needed, reliable transportation.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) plan. Parental Support Team (PST) members may be eligible for the PST incentive plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
