Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist for our client’s medical facility in Branford, CT. This is a contract role with potential extension and a strong entry point with a leading healthcare organization.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections. You must be able to work 1st shift, Tuesday–Saturday, with travel to multiple locations as needed.

• THREE years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Perform phlebotomy with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies & procedures including dress code and safety standards.
• Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

Location: Branford, CT

Schedule: 1st shift 6:00am - 3:30pm Tuesday - Saturday

Pay Range/Salary Range: $19 - $21

Contract Duration: 5+ months

Job Description:

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
• Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office
• Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
• Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.

• THREE years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
