Pride Health is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist I to support a medical facility in New York, NY 10032. This assignment is 5+ months with potential extension or conversion, offering a hands-on entry into a top-tier health system.

Shift is Monday to Friday 2 pm-6 pm and Saturdays 8 am-12 pm, with pay of $19-21 per hour on W-2 basis. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, patient interaction, and adherence to safety and accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (where required).

Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Part-Time Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in New York, NY 10032. This is a 5+ months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : New York, NY 10032

Duration : 05+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift : Monday to Friday 2 pm-6 pm and Every Saturday 8 am-12 pm

Payrate : $19-21/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

• The Patient Services Representative I(PSR I) represent the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.

Education:

• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
