Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati (JFC) is seeking a Philanthropic Advisor, Donor-Advised Funds to lead the enhancement and implementation of programs that increase the quality and quantity of Jewish philanthropy.

The role cultivates relationships with donors and prospects, manages approximately 75 donors, and guides endowment, legacy and directed giving. Strong nonprofit fundraising experience, discretion, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD and CAP preferred.
• Experience with nonprofit fundraising.
• Experience with donor-advised funds preferred.
• Must manage donor relationships with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward DAF holders; manage ~75 donors.
• Recruit new DAF holders.
• Oversee DAF operations and grant approvals.
• Understand investment policy and tax benefits of DAFs.
• Support Annual Campaign, Directed Giving, and Legacy Giving.
• Maintain donor records and timely communications.
