Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati is seeking a Philanthropic Advisor for Donor-Advised Funds to lead the growth and stewardship of our DAF program, cultivate relationships with existing donors and prospects, and help secure principal, planned, and legacy gifts in support of the Jewish community.

Reporting to the Director of Philanthropic Planning, you will collaborate with professional advisors, manage the DAF platform, ensure donor intent, and advance Federation’s Total Giving strategy across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD and CAP® preferred.
• 10+ years nonprofit and fundraising experience.
• Experience with donor-advised funds preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling donor information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the DAF program through donor cultivation and education.
• Develop endowment agreements and gift agreements with donors and successors.
• Identify and engage professional advisors to establish DAF/endowment funds.
• Support Annual Campaign, Directed Giving, and Legacy Giving initiatives.
• Oversee grantmaking processes and ensure donor intent compliance.
