Job summary

CSL Plasma in Orlando is seeking a frontline Pheresis Processor to prepare the donor and equipment for pheresis procedures. You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, and safely disconnect the donor when finished.

You will use a PDA to log incidents, link equipment, and record donor data in the electronic system, while upholding HSE/OSHA policies and maintaining a clean, stocked work area. Bilingual ability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for thepheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents in the PDA and link equipment to the donor.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and procedures.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
