CSL Plasma in Decatur, GA is seeking a Donor Center Technician to support the pheresis process. You will prepare the donor area, equipment, monitor during the procedure, and document events using the PDA while ensuring safety and accuracy in data entry.

The role emphasizes attention to donor well-being, adherence to SOPs, and proper handling of supplies. Some cross-training and bilingual skills may be required depending on local needs.

• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Mansioni

• Responsible for preparing the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to any donor reaction during or after the pheresis process and notifies staff.
• Uses PDA to record incidents during the pheresis process and to link equipment to the donor.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
