Job summary

CSL Plasma in Wisconsin is seeking a Pheresis Processor to prepare autopheresis equipment and monitor donors during the pheresis process. You will ensure accurate data entry, respond to alarms, and maintain a safe environment per SOPs. Cross-training and potential bilingual requirements may apply in a fast-paced center.

The role emphasizes donor safety, precise record-keeping in the electronic system, and adherence to HSE/OSHA guidelines while supporting center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Stay alert to donor reactions during or after pheresis; notify staff as needed.
• Use PDA to record incidents, alarms, and donor events during the process.
• Link equipment and supplies used in pheresis to the donor in PDA.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system per SOPs.
• Understand policies for hyper immune programs at the center if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; ensure supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the organization’s discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
