Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a dedicated Pheresis Technician to prepare autopheresis equipment and oversee donor sessions. You'll monitor the process, respond to alarms, disconnect donors at the end, and maintain accurate records using the PDA and donor information system.

This role requires attention to safety, confidentiality, and potential cross-training in other areas, with a flexible approach to overtime to support center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and equipment usage in the PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to the donor in the donor info system.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues.
