CSL in Las Vegas is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare donors, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process, and to set up the autopheresis machine for use.

You will monitor the donor and the procedure, respond to alarms, document incidents in the PDA, link supplies to donors, and ensure accurate data entry in the donor information system while adhering to SOPs and health and safety policies.

This role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and potential cross-training across areas.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsabilidades

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and link equipment to donors in the PDA.
• Link equipment and soft goods to the appropriate donor in PDA.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data in the electronic donor information system as per SOPs.
• Follow policies related to hyper-immune programs and center procedures.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety in all actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
