Job summary

CSL in Kenner, LA is seeking a dedicated technician to support the pheresis process. You will prepare the donor, donor area and equipment, monitor the donor and process, and respond to alarms.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents with a PDA, linking equipment to donors, maintaining data in the donor information system, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. Requires high school diploma and at least 3 months in a medical environment; bilingual skills may be required; cross-training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months’ experience in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Document incidents and donor data using the PDA and electronic system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and confidentiality.
