Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician in Columbus, OH to prepare donors, equipment, and the pheresis system for procedures. You will monitor donors, respond to alarms, and ensure safe termination of the process with proper documentation in the electronic donor information system.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and effective communication with the team to maintain donor safety and data accuracy. Some cross-training and local safety compliance knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff.
