Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a position handling donor pheresis prep and monitoring. You will prepare the autopheresis machine, monitor the donor and process, and disconnect the donor when complete. You will record incidents using a PDA, ensure proper data entry, and alert supervisors to donor flow issues.

A focus on safety and confidentiality is required. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and a minimum of three months in a medical or health provider setting, with basic math skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and link equipment to donor.
• Report donor flow issues to Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
