Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a dedicated Donor Apheresis Technician to support the pheresis process at our Springfield, IL center. You will prepare donors, operate the apheresis equipment, monitor for alarms, and document events in the PDA and donor information system.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 3 months in a medical setting, and basic math skills. Cross-training and bilingual abilities may be required to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills for donor calculations.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• May require bilingual skills at the organization’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Record incidents and donor data in the PDA and electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE/OSHA policies. May be cross-trained in other areas.
