Job summary

CSL Vifor in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Pheresis Support Technician to prepare the donor area and equipment for pheresis processing. You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when the procedure ends, maintaining safety and confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least three months of health care or medical setting experience, basic math, and the ability to follow SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the procedure is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff.
• Record incidents and machine alarms in the PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to the donor in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor to donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data in the electronic management system per SOP.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and promote safety.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at organization’s discretion.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.
