Job summary

Kitware seeks a researcher to advance algorithms for photogrammetry, calibration, and 3D reconstruction from imagery and video. You will contribute to TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield while collaborating with national and international researchers.

The role emphasizes publication in top venues and cross-disciplinary impact. Ideal candidates have a PhD in CS, strong multiview geometry experience, and proficiency in C++/Python, with a track record of solving complex imaging challenges and

Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience using multiview geometry to develop 3D reconstruction algorithms.
Proficiency in C++ and/or Python with good software practices.
Strong publication record in CV venues like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV.

Responsibilities

Research and develop algorithms for camera calibration, registration, and 3D reconstruction from images and video.
Contribute to open source projects such as TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield.
Collaborate with researchers and present findings to customers and collaborators.
Publish work and participate in conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, WACV, and 3DV.
Seek funding to grow research areas when appropriate.
