Job summary

Harris Teeter in Summerville, SC is seeking a pharmacy clerk to provide world-class customer service and support health and wellness initiatives. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry, reception, and product dispensing while ensuring accurate billing and compliant cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to handle highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Handle cash, cards, coupons and transactions per policies.
• Process vendor coupons and maintain shrink controls.
• Answer calls and triage inquiries.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure value for customers and company.
• Prepare and count products using company guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and waiting areas.
• Manage computerized inventory, ordering from wholesalers.
• Perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Comply with safety and sanitation regulations; report unsafe conditions.
