Job summary

Harris Teeter in Hilton Head Island (Store 152) is seeking a customer-focused associate to support health and wellness initiatives and pharmacy-adjacent tasks. You will assist the pharmacist, handle reception and billing steps, and ensure accurate POS transactions in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, following HIPAA guidelines, managing inventory, and delivering a safe, compliant customer experience at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk (desired)

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service and a stellar customer experience from reception to billing and dispensing steps.
• Support HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding health information.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring professional judgment.
• Handle cash, credit/debit, EBT, gifts cards, and tendering purchases.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and customer areas.
• Follow inventory management, ordering, and supplier processes for medications and supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
