Job summary

Harris Teeter in Summerville, SC seeks a pharmacy clerk to deliver world-class customer service and health and wellness support. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry and dispensing steps, manage cashiering and payments, and maintain a safe, clean store environment while following company policies and health regulations.

Responsibilities include HIPAA adherence, inventory management, and providing accurate customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and wellness services and patient care within state and federal laws.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities except those requiring pharmacist judgement.
• Provide exceptional customer experience at reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Handle cashiering, payments and vendor coupons per company policies.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company guidelines for inventory, ordering and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and customer areas.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and health code guidelines.
