Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Rogers, AR is seeking a 2nd Shift Training Coordinator for Pharmacy, Health and Wellness Operations to support associate training and certification programs, including Pharmacy Technician University and computer-based learning.

You will coordinate courses, review reports, develop training content, ensure compliance with policies, and mentor teams to improve performance while adapting to changing needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year’s experience in a pharmacy environment (for example, central fill, specialty, retail, mail order) OR 1 year’s experience training other associates/employees.
• Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Must obtain national certification certificate issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within one year of job entry.
• Preferred: certification or coursework in focus group or meeting facilitation.
• Preferred: full-time trainer experience in a manufacturing environment; active national certification (PTCE/ExCPT).

Responsibilities

• Provides training support for Pharmacy and Health and Wellness associates by coordinating certification courses and Computer Based Learning.
• Trains associates on equipment operation, provides feedback, and ensures training completion.
• Develops training programs by analyzing needs, creating content, and evaluating effectiveness.
• Promotes compliance with company policies and ethical standards; supports Open Door Policy.
• Leads teams to meet business needs, coordinates work, and helps others adapt to change.
