Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Team Lead Trainer to develop and maintain training and quality programs for the Centralized Refill Team. The role anchors onboarding, competency assessments, workflow education, and quality monitoring, primarily through virtual training across regions with occasional ISC travel in Plainfield, Indiana.

The position supports leadership in standardizing training, promoting operational excellence, and expanding the centralized refill model while overseeing

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license as required by state and organizational standards.
• Demonstrated experience in pharmacy operations and refill workflows.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively train and coach employees in a virtual environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary trainer for newly hired Centralized Refill Team employees.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve onboarding and training programs.
• Create and update training materials, job aids, workflow documentation, and competency assessments.
• Conduct virtual training sessions for technicians, pharmacists and other refill team members.
• Coordinate and facilitate ongoing education and refresher training programs.
• Partner with leadership and subject matter experts to ensure training content reflects current workflows, policies, and protocols.
