Qualifications

• Ability to review and analyze prescription refill requests with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to review and manage prescription refill requests.
• Analyze refill requests for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness prior to pharmacist review.
• Enter and maintain prescription and refill information in the pharmacy system.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and pharmacies to clarify requests and resolve issues.
• Ensure all refill activities comply with state regulations and institutional policies.
• Prioritize workload to meet volume demands while maintaining accuracy.
• Support pharmacists and team members in daily operations as needed.
• Uphold HIPAA standards in all communications and documentation.
