Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Team Lead Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for the Centralized Refill Team across multiple regions. This role serves as the primary trainer and SME for onboarding, competency assessment, and quality monitoring, partnering with leadership to ensure current workflows and compliance.

The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to IU Health ISC in Plainfield, IN for trainings and meetings, and offers growth

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license as required by state and organizational standards.
• Experience in pharmacy operations and refill workflows.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills; ability to train virtually.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms (Teams).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary trainer for newly hired Centralized Refill Team employees.
• Develop and maintain onboarding and training programs.
• Create and update training materials, job aids, workflow documentation, and competency assessments.
• Conduct virtual training sessions for technicians, pharmacists and other refill team members.
• Coordinate ongoing education and refresher training programs.
• Partner with leadership and subject matter experts to ensure training content reflects current workflows, policies, and protocols.
