• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy
• State board registration eligibility
• Lifting requirement: Up to 25 pounds
• Age requirement: At least 18 years of age

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Assist in processing orders in person and by phone, directing patients to products and merchandise, and referring questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive-thru, phone, filing, and order receiving, including patient lookups and prescription data entry.
• Assist in improving outcomes using service and business metrics.
• Contribute to executing company initiatives and programs.
• Complete required training and exams.
• Follow HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine policies and all applicable laws.
• Finalize sales according to POS procedures.
• Transcribe prescription data to generate customer labels.
• Maintain inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating drugs and supplies.
• Answer telephone professionally and ensure accurate information exchange.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns with clear communication.
• File written prescriptions daily.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy
