Qualifications

• 0–6 months experience in pharmacy or retail setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with state board.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion at entry points.
• Assist with processing orders in person and by phone; direct questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat work environment to meet company and regulatory requirements.
• Assist team to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive-thru and ordering processes.
• Support in executing company initiatives and programs.
• Complete required training programs and exams.
• Follow HIPAA and state/federal policies and regulations.
• Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs and supplies.
