Uphams Corner Health Center is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Trainee in Dorchester, MA. This full-time role (40 hours/week) is in the Pharmacy department and reports to the Pharmacy Director. Trainees will learn to process prescriptions, handle insurance communications, and use Epic for 340B compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including some Saturdays. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Willing to work days, nights and some Saturdays.

Aufgaben

• Process new prescriptions and fill medications.
• Bill insurances and resolve prior authorizations and DURs.
• Learn and use Pharmacy software including Epic for 340B compliance.
• Update and verify patient information and create new profiles.
• Stock shelves, take inventory and manage supplies.
• Assist Pharmacist with MTMs and Mirixa cases.
• Perform monthly 340B compliance audits.
• Verify MassPat for all controlled substance prescriptions.
• Answer phone calls and process patient refills.
