Job summary

Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in a training capacity to work alongside a trainer/mentor while performing job responsibilities in the pharmacy.

The role will assist pharmacists, other technicians, and the care team in the storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications, and you will perform only competencies you have completed in your knowledge-based courses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or eligible for applicable state license as a Pharmacy Technician.
• None required
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and the care team in the storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications.
• Work alongside trainer/mentor while completing job responsibilities in their respective pharmacy practice area.
