Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy, a long-term care pharmacy, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician- Production to join our team in Pennsylvania. This role focuses on dispensing, labeling, packaging and preparing prescriptions for delivery within a specialized care setting.

The successful candidate will perform duties with accuracy, assist with unit dose packaging, and support timely processing of orders while maintaining compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active PA State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) based on directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines.
• Pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions; perform quality assurance checks as directed; prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
