Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Minnetonka seeks a Pharmacy Technician - Production to label and dispense prescription orders, prepare unit-dose packaging, and assist in order entry when needed. This full-time, onsite role supports long-term care patients and requires precision and teamwork.

You will pull stock, verify accuracy, and prepare orders for delivery, while maintaining compliance with Minnesota board requirements.

Qualifications

• Active MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or LTC.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC/ECM software preferred.
• Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy terminology.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit-dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) as directed.
• Pull pre-packed blister cards and affix labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• When appropriate, pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills & Abilities

• Must possess an active MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• 1+ year minimum experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail or LTC setting.
• Experience in FrameworkLTC/ECM software preferred, not required.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
• Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
