Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Minnetonka is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to label, dispense, and prepare prescriptions for delivery, including unit-dose packaging. This on-site, full-time position supports a long-term care pharmacy serving clients nationwide.

Required is MN licensure and 1+ year of retail or LTC pharmacy experience. Familiarity with FrameworkLTC/ECM is a plus. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive healthcare, a 401(k), PTO, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• 1+ year minimum experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail or LTC setting.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC/ECM software is preferred, not required.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations and interpret prescriptions.
• Able to complete projects promptly and work with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) by hand or with machines.
• Affix labels to correctly pre-packed blister cards when required.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions for delivery.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery and perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will actively label and dispense prescription orders, including providing unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards). You may also address the organizing, categorizing, and preparing of finalized prescriptions for delivery.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pmCST

Location: Onsite in our Minnetonka location

Start: November 2026

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.

• When appropriate, prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) based on the directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines.
• When appropriate, pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
• Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
