Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Minnetonka location. You will label and dispense prescription orders, prepare unit dose packaging, and ensure accurate labeling for delivery. This onsite role starts in November 2026 and offers a stable full-time schedule in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail or LTC setting.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC/ECM software preferred.
• Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions using basic pharmacy language.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pull stock bottles and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• Prepare unit dose packaging (blister cards) as directed.
• Attach labels to pre-packed blister cards as needed.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull correct stock bottles from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging.
• Accurately dispense and label prescription orders.
• When appropriate, prepare unit dose packaging (e.g., blister cards) based on the directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines.
• When appropriate, pull the correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescription labels.
• Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
• Perform quality assurance checks as directed.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills & Abilities

• Must possess an active MN State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• 1+ year minimum experience as a pharmacy tech in a retail or LTC setting.
• Experience in FrameworkLTC/ECM software preferred, not required.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
• Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
