Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in pharmacy operations.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions.
• Sharing customer service best practices to deliver excellent service, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy duties, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and managing workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Building relationships with healthcare providers and supporting clinical and outreach activities.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and earning continuing education credits.
• Attending requested training and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
