Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting with other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience through engagement, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
• Developing relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practice under supervision, complying with all relevant policies and codes of conduct.
• Performing duties such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and supporting workflow management.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to error management policies.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing claims efficiently.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Building relationships with healthcare providers and supporting external healthcare initiatives.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program or state certification, with promotion contingent on certification achievement.
• Participating in training and continuing education to stay current with healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
