Responsibilities include:

1. In accordance with state and federal regulations, assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assist in other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. If PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients, greet them, and offer assistance with products and services. Resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members and develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow scheduling.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to error and quality policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist with inventory, and support clinical services as needed.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and orderly pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program and/or state certification. Certification may be a condition for promotion.
• Attend training and continuing education to stay current with healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
