Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting in other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engaging customers and patients, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure positive interactions.
• Sharing customer service best practices and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy operations, including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medications, and maintaining workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting with inventory management, and supporting clinical services as needed.
• Building relationships with healthcare providers and maintaining a neat and orderly pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Attending training sessions and staying updated on healthcare developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
