Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if certified.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engaging customers by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure positive interactions.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practices under supervision, including entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, managing inventory, supporting clinical services, and maintaining a neat and stocked pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program and/or state certification, with promotion requirements if applicable.
• Attending training sessions, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying updated on healthcare news and developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico), and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
