Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, complying with regulations and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers by greeting and assisting them, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy operations under supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medicines, and managing workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and dispensing policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
• Support inventory management, clinical services, and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and support clinical and outreach activities.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
