Responsibilities include:

1. Assist the pharmacist: In accordance with state and federal regulations, under direct supervision, assist in the practice of pharmacy and perform other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems: Obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Deliver customer service: Model and provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients by greeting and assisting them, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting in workflow management.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and manage pharmacy inventory and clerical tasks.
• Support clinical services, maintain store appearance, and foster positive relationships within the healthcare community.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program and/or state certification requirements.
• Attend training, acquire continuing education credits, and stay informed of healthcare developments.

• Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
