Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and procedures.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and sharing best practices.

Customer Experience

• Greet and assist customers, resolve issues, and ensure positive interactions.
• Build strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practices, including data entry, prescription filling, and verifying medications under supervision.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to all policies regarding dispensing and safety.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and support inventory management.
• Support clinical services and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, stocked, and orderly.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program or state registration.
• Attend training sessions, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on industry developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
