Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in pharmacy system and register operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and answering questions.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, developing strong relationships, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Assisting with pharmacy operations under supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medicines, and managing workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies on dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, customer inquiries, and supporting inventory management and clinical services as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program and/or state certification, and pursuing continuing education.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
