Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting with other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other technicians and cashiers in pharmacy system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and sharing customer service best practices.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and checking for interactions.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies related to pharmacy errors and quality improvement.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and managing pharmacy inventory and supplies.
• Supporting clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintaining the pharmacy environment, complying with policies, and completing assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Obtaining and maintaining PTCB certification through our training program or state requirements; certification may be a condition for promotion.
• Attending training sessions, acquiring continuing education credits, and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
